If you are not an artist or believe you are not creative, then this class is for you. Learn to combine household items like salt, oil, baking soda, and vinegar with glue, acrylic paint, ink, watercolors and sand to create textured mixed media pieces that you will love. As you use the various materials you will begin to see everyday items in new ways. Students are encourage to explor the natural tendencies of these items, as well as different ways to manipulate the media with straws, kitchen utensils, threads and fingers to get a finished piece.
